Cord blood collection is typically depleted of red blood cells before cryopreservation to ensure high rates of stem cell recovery.[4] After a baby is born and the umbilical cord is cut, some blood remains in the blood vessels of the placenta and the portion of the umbilical cord that remains attached to it. After birth, the baby no longer needs this extra blood. This blood is called placental blood or umbilical cord blood: "cord blood" for short. Cord blood contains all the normal elements of blood - red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and plasma. But it is also rich in hematopoietic (blood-forming) stem cells, similar to those found in bone marrow. This is why cord blood can be used for transplantation as an alternative to bone marrow. Transplants of cord blood stem cells can cure over 80 diseases. Most of the diseases treated by stem cell transplants are rare among children. The exceptions are inherited blood disorders that are prevalent in certain populations, such as sickle cell disease and thalassemia. In recent years trials with cord blood have showed promise for treating more common childhood conditions, such as cerebral palsy, autism, and others. Bigg Boss 10: Synopsis Day 93

Sometimes, you find happiness in the most unexpected places and it came true for Bigg Boss inmate Monalisa. Early in the morning, the housemates wake up to the song ‘Saanjan Ji Ghar Aae’ wondering what Bigg Boss is hinting at. Manu is seen having a conversation with Mona about the nominations task and in retrospect, he says that they all could have destroyed their gifts and become safe from nominations. Manu further adds that everyone including Mona took a hasty decision and did not pay attention to what he was saying. Mona says that sometimes we need to put emotions above everything and think sensibly.

As the day progresses, Bigg Boss gives the housemates an opportunity to do luxury budget shopping. In the garden area, the luxury budget items are placed on a table with a plastic string attached to it. The housemates are asked to form a chain and pass on the luxury budget items of their choice by holding it with their mouth. While the housemates were entitled to get 10 mins for the process, they only get 6 mins because of Manveer and Lopa’s slipups. Apart from this, Bigg Boss also lifts the ban imposed on Manu to not use the luxury budget items. The housemates successfully pick up some of their favorite luxury budget items and feel delighted.

Later in the day, Bigg Boss calls for Mona and asks her to go inside the activity area. Mona gets extremely excited and enters the activity area to find her boyfriend Vikrant standing there waiting for her against a brightly lit romantic backdrop. Mona runs towards him and greets him with a tight hug. When Mona asks him the reason for his visit, he simply goes down on his knees, takes out a sparkling ring and proposes her for marriage. Mona is over the moon and finds it all surreal. Vikrant further tells her that they are going to get married right there, inside the Bigg Boss house in everybody’s presence and Mona jumps with job unable to contain her excitement. When they both step inside the house, Bigg Boss makes an official announcement about Mona and Vikrant getting married in the house and that the contestants will have to take all the responsibilities of the wedding as her fellow inmates. Amongst the contestants, Lopamudra, Rohan and Manu are asked to be the ladkiwale while Bani and Manveer are made to be the ladkewale.

Without wasting a minute, the contestants start the preparations and begin the wedding rituals with Haldi ceremony. Bigg Boss provides them with all the things required for the ceremony and asks the housemates to perform the rituals. The contestants roll up their sleeves and kick star the celebrations by applying haldi on Mona and Vikrant. They revel in the moment by applying haldi on each other and dancing to the song Navrai Majhi.

As the entire nation waits with bated breath, Mona and Vikrant will get married tomorrow in the presence of Bigg Boss, housemates, and their loved ones!
